Join our Science and Animal Studies team and provide high quality customer service and administrative support to students and staff.

About the role

The Client Support Administrator provides professional, high-quality customer service and administrative support within the Faculty of Health, Community & Animals, working specifically as part of the Science and Animal Studies department. This role acts as a first point of contact for students, clients and stakeholders, delivers accurate student administration services, and supports program delivery and faculty operations. The position works collaboratively with teaching and business support staff and provides cross-faculty coverage during peak periods to ensure continuity of client services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide professional, accurate customer service and information at all points of contact, including front-of-house services on a rotational basis
  • Deliver administrative support to facilitate the effective development and delivery of programs, ensuring processes align with organisational policies and procedures
  • Provide student administration services using the student management system, including enrolments, results entry, course exits, withdrawals, fees and award administration
  • Prepare and maintain documentation, records, reports, databases and correspondence to support faculty operations
  • Support student data and financial reporting, including invoicing and administrative support for practical placements and commercial operations
  • Liaise with students, teaching staff, employers and internal stakeholders regarding attendance, timetable changes, appointments and general enquiries
  • Assist with quality, compliance and audit activities, and escalate client feedback or issues as required

About You

  • Experience providing administrative support and high-quality customer service in a professional environment
  • Ability to work effectively as part of the Science and Animal Studies department within a broader faculty setting
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Well developed organisational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and provide support during peak periods
  • Sound judgement, initiative and problem-solving skills in an administrative role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation, reporting and data management

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Relevant qualification in Business or Office Administration, or an equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Ability to work across multiple campuses as required
  • Capacity to comply with child safety standards, legislative requirements and organisational policies
